Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is an ancient and vital holistic system of health and healing, based on the principles of harmony and balance, and employing the ideas of moderation and prevention. A perfect complement to modern therapies, TCM offers an approach to health that is based on your unique constitution, your specific symptoms, and is geared toward helping you adapt to your personal challenges in the most empowering way possible. People who receive regular TCM treatments report increased relaxation, decreased stress-related tension, a reduction in pain and inflammation, and an heightened sense of well-being. TCM has been known to help with a variety of health-related concerns including pain management, weight loss, hormonal regulation, insomnia, digestion, anxiety, and depression.
Kelly Sell discovered Traditional Chinese Medicine eleven years ago due to his own health crisis. After becoming frustrated with the answers his allopathic doctors were giving him, he sought treatment from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and experienced profound and immediate results.
Kelly studied TCM at the Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and received a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in August 2011. He is a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine from the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.) Kelly is compassionate, caring and intuitive. His work is effective, nurturing, and can be a dynamic adjunct to any health regime and/or personal care protocol. He is currently training in Advanced Studies in Neijing Acupuncture with Dr. Edward Neil and has completed the teacher training program in Mindfulness Self-Compassion with Kristen Neff and Chris Germer. |
